I had no idea that flip-flops could damage your feet. My feet have been aching terribly, so I'm not sure if I should see a foot doctor or not. Do you have any advice for choosing a foot doctor in my area?

Thanks for this list of articles. It's been getting hot this summer so I'll have to check out the Sandal Scandal. I'll have to beat the heat and stay healthy.

My son plays basketball and has started to notice that his feet hurt when he plays. I appreciate your comment about wearing the correct shoes when playing sports in order to keep feet healthy and avoid injury. I will be sure to take my son to a great podiatrist that will asses his feet and help to prevent further damage.

Thanks for reminding us that it is important for us to have the proper footwear to ensure that we are not damaging our feet. My son shared that he would like to buy new flip flops for daily wear. I will remind him to be mindful of the sole as well as test walking in them before he makes any purchase to ensure comfort.

It's great that this article talked that for winter time, you should take care of your feet a little more. I have a cousin who is an athlete who mentioned to me last night that his ankle injury is taking too long to heal, and he asked if I had any idea what would be the best treatment to do. Thanks to this informative article, I'll be sure to tell him that consulting a trusted podiatrist can help him with his injury and will provide the proper care for his ankle.

    Kick the High Heel Habit

High heels put you on the fast track to pain, bunions, corns, and other problems.
If you love heels, try a shorter one. A 2-inch heel is better than a 4-inch heel. Don't wear them every day, and don’t wear them when you will be on your feet for a long time. Choose chunky heels instead of skinny ones if you have flat feet.
